Our search for a central anchor and new leadership begins
(AKA: GM/CEO/COO)
After running Magic of I. for the last 8 years, and about to step into parenthood for the first time (any day soon), we are opening our doors for someone to join us as a central anchor for the business & brand, that we have built from the ground up.
Someone who can grow upon what we have created, working closely with us as the founders and our team, to steward the brand forward with integrity, alignment and trust.
It is time for us to go back to our creative roots (what started all of this in the first place) and to carve out more space for new products, raising a child, and being more creative.
We have put everything into this brand, and this space, it has been such a huge part of myself for so long, held solidly behind the scenes by James, my partner in life and in business.
But we can only take it so far that does all the work justice, so we are slowly and carefully looking for the right human who understands our vision, products and audience deeply, to take some of the reins and build upon what we have created.
This is a pivotal and exciting time for all of us, with new ideas and products already in the pipeline, and we cant wait to welcome a new addition to our team that will be key to lead Magic of I. into the future sustainably.
If you are a highly experienced business leader, C-suite, or Integrator, find the EOI info and application form through the link in our bio, and please only apply through there (no DM’s or emails please!).
Or if you know someone who would be perfect, help share this message.
We cant wait to expand the heart of Magic of I. with the right person x
Closing of the year, and late solstice blessings.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s been a while since I’ve shared a personal update, but as we move through a threshold into a new year it now feels like the right time…
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It doesn’t mean I haven’t been present, I’ve been here the whole time - but wanting to stay in a quiet, safe bubble filled with the most magic I’ve ever experienced in the physical realm.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’ve been busy, blissfully, and quietly, growing a human 🤍
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What a wild and incredible journey this has been so far. It truly is the most ultimate creation. The body and its capabilities just absolutely blow my mind in every moment.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The deepening reverence I have for the female body and the mother is hard to find words for. For a long while I didn’t think I’d get here. But it is now reshaping me in ways I could never have imagined, and I’ve loved it, even in the uncomfortable moments.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s all so temporary… and goes so fast. I had planned on sharing the news earlier, but entering the third trimester came and went! (32 weeks and really not long now).
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
While I prepare for birth and the transition to motherhood, I will be taking a time for myself from late January to go inwards. But things will go on as normal here.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If we have personally connected here you can request to follow on my private account @kerry_kershaw . I won’t be sharing many personal updates during this transition and value the separation of worlds from this other child of mine - Magic of I. 🤍
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s been a very full year with many ups and downs, and wow the challenges have been intense! But amidst it all growing a human is not the only thing I’ve been creating... There is lots of goodness coming for you soon, I’m so excited to share.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As always, thank you for being here.
All the love for this holiday season, and transition into the new too.

Mars Enters Taurus
18th 3:26 PM PDT / 19th 8:26 AM AEST
Mars saunters into Taurus, where we shift from rapid movement into steadfast, slow pacing. Mars finds some discomfort in the Fixed Earth temple of Taurus as it wants to run, race, fly, and Taurus pulls back, only striking when the time is right. This transit is about patient building for something in the long term. We replace impulse with pause.
This isn't to say that we are at a standstill, though. Not even close! Taurus is all about sustainability. We find what works or makes sense and then carry it through. With stubborn tenacity and incredible continuity, there is no stopping the bull once it gets going. Mars in Taurus will help us find the willpower to bring whatever we have in our hearts, minds, and spirits to completion. There will be no easing up until it is done.
We have to be careful of inflexibility at this time. Mars in Taurus may dig its heels into the ground if it feels there is a resistance to its plans or momentum. Almost stopping something in its tracks if it notices a change without prior consultation. This will leave us without agility or the ability to navigate tough situations with ease. Taurus is all about the "wait and see", and Mars wants to get up and go. Discovering a balance between the two will help. Concoct a plan but don't feel that you need to be rigid with it. Allow room for growth.
The advice for Mars in Taurus is around manifestation, patience, and allowing more ease into your life. We can work hard and get carried away in the process, but we also need to stop and smell the roses from time to time. Find ways to rest between moves. Get yourself into a place of feeling comfortable without being too strict or immobile.

Mercury Enters Gemini
17th 3:27 AM PDT / 17th 8:27 PM AEST
After playing an ancillary role with the Taurus New mMon, Mercury enters Gemini and immediately aligns with Uranus. Eureka! A bold, if not fragmented, idea surfaces! Are you rescued from indecision? Could this be the solution that you’ve been seeking?
It’s possible, but it also may be just the first in a series of a-ha! realizations intended to release you from circular thinking. Next up, a square with the lunar nodes on May 19/20 offers a this-or-that choice, and a trine between Mercury and Pluto later the same day inspires the closing of a deal or the commitment to an investigation. There is an analytical bend to all of these transits, but they come with an impish quality that will make the first week of Mercury in Gemini an exercise in navigating the surreal. We’re invited to laugh at ourselves and acknowledge that the impermanence of an idea, relationship, or even karma itself doesn’t make its exploration any less meaningful. Mental malleability makes us all better negotiators, and ups our persuasive power if we must drive home a point with a friend or partner.
The remainder of Mercury’s stint in Gemini sees only supportive aspects issuing from planets in Aries. And despite turmoil in the wider world, this might be one of the year’s peak moments for interpersonal rapport, understanding, and acceptance. At home in Gemini’s terrain of novelty, Mercury generates social buzz and offers an outlet for nervous energy at a time when we really NEED to be talking with one another, at best in person, even better in diverse group settings, so as not to get stymied in tunnel vision of one individual's (or one media conglomerate’s, etc,) particular vision of the world. Go forth and connect. Expect surprises and keep curious. These are this transit’s only asks.

TAURUS NEW MOON
MAY 16 1:01 PM PDT / MAY 16 10:01 PM CEST / MAY 17 6:01 AM AEST
MOONTHLY THEME: Stability, Self-Worth & Money
NEW MOON REFLECTION: ‘I am the vessel which abundance flows through’
“As we end Taurus Season, we are gifted a New Moon that can cleanse and nurture the wounds we faced at the Full Moon in Scorpio. We find ourselves stabilizing and now on new ground. Our Garden of Eden is restored, and we find the snake did not damn us. Instead, it opened the door to see reality, no matter how harsh.
This New Moon soothes the previous rumbles of thunder that we have felt over the last few weeks. It eases us onto a new pathway, one bound by growth and curiosity. Jupiter is supportive, reminding us that we can expand and push beyond the restrictions that were originally placed upon us. We are no longer moving through the valley of death, but instead the fields of life - where flowers bloom with grace and beauty. Like those flowers, we create solid roots so that we can reach for the highest heavens...” @ap_astrology

Pluto Stations Retrograde
6th 8:34 AM PDT / 7th 1:34 AM
Pluto begins its cosmic backslide today; a subtler transit with less immediate felt reverberations. To give some context for this retrograde, Pluto has been on Aquarius’ 5th degree since March 20 as it slowed to station. While its relative standstill may have manifested in a personal story arc (especially if you have planets around 5 degrees of any of the fixed signs), it’s more likely that, if you’ve clocked its slowdown at all, it’s been in an existential way. A feeling of foreboding. The sense that the other shoe is about to drop.
Except now that Pluto retrograde is here, the shoe *still* hasn’t dropped. We are in a state of suspension, and the reveals coming your way have less to do with external events than a shift in mindset. Pluto’s retrogrades expose which of our unconscious behaviors are the TRUE powers behind the throne, as well as which ones are stymieing our self-actualization or success. Here, repressed memories resurface. Suppressed intuition becomes impossible to ignore.
In Aquarius, Pluto is asking us to reimagine how we define progress, innovation, and community engagement. Many of the crises we are facing now are a result of societal infrastructure crumbling, but a percentage of these crises are *insurmountable* because we have surrendered our agency for the promise of a better life that has failed to materialize. Fear has taken the wheel, and fear is an 'us' problem. Systemic change IS coming, but Plutonian transformation occurs glacially, and it must start within. The next five months encourage self-examination, soul-searching, and a willingness to transmute the taboo. Our advice: don’t hold on so tight to the known. Question what power means to you. When you peel back your preconceptions, real power may look different than you thought.

Mercury Enters Taurus
2nd 7:57 PM PDT / 3rd 12:57 PM AEST
Mercury moves into Taurus today, turning down the heat on spicy communications, however, a touch of edge lingers. For one thing, Mercury has just passed over Chiron before entering the sign of the bull, making exchanges touchy and causing us to second-guess impetuous urges or hasty callouts. Skins are thin, but that may be for the best, if the reopening of a wound creates space for genuine repair. We’ve *needed* to get something off our chest this week, and with any luck, now that we’ve done so, we can move on.
However, Mercury about to lock into a touchy square to Pluto, a recipe for overanalysis, so don’t be surprised if obsessive or circular thoughts begin to creep in over the next few days. On the one hand, challenges to our ideas or best practices, especially from those with more bargaining power than us, can stoke anger or resentment now. On the other hand, this is a great time to examine the propaganda we fall for, as well as the propaganda we *perpetuate*. We’ve all conjured a convenient excuse to justify our decisions here and there. Or we’ve convinced ourselves that something *must* operate or behave the way it does. Mercury in Taurus loves to assign, abridge, and regulate. But let’s be real: convenient 'truths' aren’t always the most accurate or effective ones.
This is a good lesson for us, overall, as Mercury continues to transit Taurus, where digging in our ideological heels is customary. “Because I said so,” IS a whole sentence, but approaching dialogues and differences of opinions in this way can rob us of the chance to learn something new. Find the balance between measured deliberation and defiance on principle. Common sense elections do not have to lack imagination. Simple is good. SIMPLISTIC should be given the side-eye.

We enter the month with most of the tensions whipped up in the firestorm of April’s Aries stellium behind us. We still have momentum, yet we’re not being outwitted by our triggers. The cosmic wind is in our sails, in a pleasant way. One of May's most lovely call outs lies in a mutual reception between Mercury in Taurus and Venus in Gemini, active from May 2/3 until May 17, suggesting we embrace communication as an underutilized resource. Don’t be fooled by the content of your conversations, some of which will seem trivial. This influence will germinate revelations that will be circled back to in the future. Be the person who’s never met a stranger. That openness will deliver opportunities down the road. After May 18/19, Mars moves into Taurus and Venus enters Cancer, slowing life down, without robbing us of drive. Gemini season, beginning May 20/21, will be comparatively meditative and well-paced. With urgency diminished, we can assess hasty decisions made last month and make course-corrections.
NOTABLE TRANSITS
May 2/3 - Mercury enters Taurus → put pragmatic plans through their paces, but don’t get stuck in the mental mud
May 6/7 - Pluto is Retrograde → inviting us to face fears and exhume awareness repressed by choice or circumstance
May 17/18 - Mercury enters Gemini → get curious and ask questions, just listen to the answers others are providing: the goal is dialogue, not hearing yourself talk!
May 18/19 - Mars enters Taurus → take your time and get it right. Slow and steady wins the race.
May 18/19 - Venus enters Cancer → where protective instincts can shield our chosen family from distress, yet be aware that your loved ones may not want to be mothered.
May 20/21 - Sun enters Gemini → a season to explore our options and let curiosity lead. Knowledge is power but so is our knack for connecting with others.

SCORPIO FULL MOON
MAY 1 10:23 AM PDT / MAY 1 7:23 PM CEST / MAY 2 3:23 AM AEST
MOONTHLY THEME: Stability, Self-Worth & Money
FULL MOON ILLUMINATION: 'I trust in the process of rebirth through ultimate surrender.'
'Taurus Season is known for its fresh, lush landscape, perfect for creating a foundation for growth and abundance. However, below the earth lies a slow-burning fire at the core that can’t be ignored. This is the Scorpio Full Moon. There is a connection between Taurus and Scorpio that is often overlooked; they are polarities. Where Taurus can be fixated and stable, Scorpio brings in a sense of change and clears out the old to make way for the new. We can’t have one without the other, as release sets the stage for what’s to come.
We reflect the dichotomy of our natures with a Full Moon: the internal & external, intimate & exposed. The energy will push us to evolve and change from the inside out. The Sun, itself, will be coaxing the Scorpion from its lair and forcing up its defenses. With Uranus now treading new territory, liberation is the name of the game, and we must be willing to change in order to find freedom...' @ap_astrology

Uranus Enters Gemini
25th 5:50 PM PDT / 26th 10:50 AM AEST
Here we are at one of 2026’s biggest headline news days: Uranus’ entrance to Gemini for the next seven years. We got a little preview of what the rebel planet would do in the sign of communication last year. The results were nothing if not interesting!
Planets in Gemini become more concerned with versatility and adaptation. They intend to speed events up, connect dots, and concatenate data. Uranus, boundary-shatterer and rule-breaker, assesses the intel collected and either thinks, “I can do something more innovative with this”, or “this isn’t useful to me, so I don’t need it at all”. In a world that humans have literally constructed around algorithms, reflections like this are risky. It is riskier still when those musings aren’t being voiced by Uranus itself, but by people taking the shape of Uranian archetypes (think the big names in big tech) who make decisions about which data counts and why for the rest of us. At the dawning of Uranus in Gemini, surveillance culture has become endemic because we’ve become so used to sharing ourselves willingly on platforms that have become increasingly extractive. However, dusk may look far different than the dawn.
There is hope (a great deal of hope) that Uranus in Gemini will become the [block]chain breaker that re-democratizes access to information and allows the Average Joe to benefit from it. This is a mental revolution. Our future might not look like the techno-hellscape we fear. It may look like AI that is actually functional and responsive to legitimate human needs. But first, we have to reimagine the networks we’ve adopted as nice-to-haves instead of need-to-haves. That’s step one.

Venus Enters Gemini
23rd 9:04 PM PDT / 24th 2:04 PM AEST
Venus has made its final pass over Uranus in Taurus for our lifetime. Did you suffer any romantic upsets? Have a financial epiphany? Discover that the safe thing you assumed you desired is different from what your body or mind truly craves?
We’re given mere hours to process these breakthroughs before Venus makes its ingress into Gemini, but that might be for the best. This is no time to get distracted by what has been given up or gained, as planets in Taurus are prone to do, plodding and re-plodding over a memory, digging themselves a hole as they go. This is a time for *experience*. For experimentation, trying new things, delighting in variety and diversity, and even making messes, if that’s your thing. Venus in Gemini is the sensory sampler of the zodiac. It loves life and finds splendor in transience. Under its influence, we don’t need perfection; we only need our curiosity to be captured and our attention to be held.
Gemini is Mercury-ruled. It’s an intellectual sign. But more than that, it’s a sign of socializing and sharing. So when Venus shows up here, we aim to reach out and touch others, in the mental or physical sense. Venus in Gemini knows that relationships, like ideas, are ever evolving, so there is less of a compulsion to define the terms of love or friendship or to claim ownership of people than to simply appreciate another’s individual quirks. What a delight that we get to connect with so many people in one lifespan! To trade stories and learn from each other! To make a person laugh! To cross paths and share a meaningful moment, even if, afterwards, we never see them again! This is the beauty of the next three and a half weeks, and it should be lived, not overthought.

Earth Day is Every Day…A reminder we are borrowing this world from future generations.
Taurus Season brings Earth Day, and this year feels different after newly becoming a mother. What we tend to now becomes the inheritance of those we bring into this world, and those we will never meet.
The air they breathe. The dirt they play in. The oceans they swim in and harvest from. The rhythm of the seasons they will learn to know.
Not someday, but shaped here and now in the choices we make daily.
This is not just about grand gestures, it is about small, ongoing repeated care and consideration for our HOME.
What actions or changes are you making now, and for the future?
Our commitment to the Earth runs deep. As members of 1% for the Planet since the inception of Magic of I., we have donated a portion of every sale to support environmental initiatives, each making vital strides in protecting and restoring our natural world.
We also started our own non-profit foundation, Wild Vaults, that is dedicated to securing and protecting wild lands, ensuring they remain untouched and preserved for future generations. This is our way of having an impact in the most tangible and lasting way we can.
Every purchase you make helps protect the wild and supports us further, now more than ever before.
Thank you for caring and helping small creatives make big impacts.
