Ahhh, integrating your shadow aspects aka getting brutally honest with yourself and the parts that you avoid or reject due to disapproval by society, fam, friends or you here we gooo It’s a consistent practice of allowing the grit to merge with the soft and looks different for everyone. Example: instead of avoiding shame, you peel back the layers, process, find the root, and then embrace that part of you in a healthy way (instead of hurting innocent people from masking or avoidance). It becomes unapologetic, and power stems from truth and not for approval or control SO my declining health rapidly started about 2 years ago and the physical pain forced me to sit and hang out in the underworld 🐍 Last year alone, I had over 10 MRIS, 200+ doctor appointments, specialists, therapies, ER visits, and too many unconnected diagnoses for someone who always lived healthy. My body felt like it was deteriorating to the point I could barely move (not being dramatic). Between getting dismissed, docs scratching their heads, or me decoding any trauma stored, I grieved versions of me I couldn’t become. But the body is way smarter than me, so I started learning its language. And all it ever wanted was safety And while the fog was thick for sometime, THANK YOU for atleast protecting and communicating with me when someone / something is bad news. It’d be nice if you were less aggressive about it…but she just don’t play 🔪✨🧘‍♀️ Even tho a month of dance does not make up for 2 years gone, signing up the day before to go bad shit FERAL was everything. No training no expectations. Just came to release, express this heart and celebrate resilience for myself and women!! I’m still learning the language, but getting this far??
