28 was the most challenging year of my life but it also contained some of the most pivotal, transformative, necessary moments and people. I’m a different person; in every sense of the word.
Bambi-legged, I came home to myself. I came home to all of the versions of me that I shelved to appease people that loved me conditionally.
I spent year 28 surrounding myself with people that light up dark rooms, speak life into the weariest parts of me, and love me fiercely and relentlessly.
This is a virtual toast to them, my people and their unwavering love that carried me safely to 29. I didn’t just lean on them, they carried my dead weight in their outstretched arms without hesitation or reluctancy.
29, I crawled to you. Scathed but with no shortage of peace, joy, or love. The future has never looked so bright. I can’t wait to experience the fruition of the seeds that were sown this year.🩵

We spent over 2 hours relaxing and recovering here and we still didn’t have time to try everything out that they had to offer. We could have spent the whole day here.
