DJIL makes good use of the decks presenting Madra Tape numero six with an hour of open-air-friendly (tech)house euphoria that weaves together modern production sensibilities with the classic foundations of the genre. Soulful vocals, mean basslines, breaky bits here and there and synth stabs that echo far into the distance.
Having played various festivals and clubs around Berlin while also taking part in the collective Rosa Brisante, Jil clearly knows how to transport you right back to a haze-flooded dancefloor situation just as the sun starts to set. Recommend!

Leo Maszarella aka SanLeo joins the Madra Tape Series delivering the 5th edition straight from Wuppertal. His nearly two-hour vinyl-only mix invites to lose track of time, aiming to build a distinct mood instead of giving instant gratification. Leo combines bouncy rhythms and swirling melodies in a dubbed-out minimal fashion - making you want to stare at plants for an oddly long time.
This one landed just in time for the weekend, perfect to catch some fresh air and enjoy some minimal.

Edition 004 of Madra Tape is finally out and we couldn’t be more happy to present you our very first guest-mix with DJ Mann aka Cosmo.
Nourished by recent dancefloor affairs at Säule and Garage Noord, he guides us through dense sonic structures leading to uncharted territories. Elegantly blending half-time and uptempo rhythms the mix not only shines with it’s transformative qualities but also encourages to reevaluate the relation between tempo and movement.

Lenny San is a producer, live act and DJ. He provides the third volume of Madra Tape with a live set: “I love creating as much as possible from scratch. So everything sounds a bit more personal and feels like one piece. I like hypnotic sounds, that are not only driving but also deep and interesting. That’s why I put great emphasis on a powerful groove and plenty of ear candy. Techno, to me, means finding calm in my mind and letting myself drift. But it also stands for coming together, enjoying life and breaking out of the everyday. A collective meditation that teaches us presence. I hope you enjoy the set.”

We proudly present to you the first transmission of Madra Tape. A mix series dedicated to cover the many different shades of techno and electronic sounds by emerging artists and the collective members themselves.
On this first installment Schleppo dives head first into hypnotic grooves carefully layering percussive elements with mind-boggling atmospheres. The result is a well-paced techno mix that builds tension but also allows itself to breathe enabling one to fully give in to the flow of the music.
