Join us for our next Central Vermont Queer Line Dance! This month’s theme is In Bloom 🌷 Think flowers, florals, pastels, soft colors and anything that makes you feel like spring 🌷🌱🌿🌸 This month we’re raising funds for @madpridevt 💛 We’ll begin the evening with a mocktail mingle from 6-7pm, featuring botanical concoctions by the wonderful @theflowerhausvt 🌸 There will also be homemade Venezuelan empanadas for sale so come hungry! 🥟 The @theishtarcollective will be creating a cozy pop-up lounge in the back for anyone who wants a soft place to land between dates ✨ From 7–9pm, we’ll have guided line dancing with instruction for all levels followed by open dancing + requests. Absolute beginners are always welcome and seasoned dancers are celebrated 🌷 This is a sober, all-ages, pay-what-you-can event. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. The space is fully accessible, with an elevator, seating and a nearby lower-stimulation area for anyone who needs a brain breather 🌼 Masks will be available at the door and we kindly ask that you stay home if you’re feeling unwell. MAD PRIDE MARCH ROUTE FOR TOMORROW'S EVENT! Don't forget your sign! The forecast for Burlington will be partly cloudy with temps in the high 80s. We will have free waters (as well as lunches for the first 150 attendees) and tents for shade. The march is approximately 0.8 miles long - if you do not feel comfortable marching, feel free to gather at Battery Park starting at 12-12:30pm! Speakers will begin at 1pm. We will assemble in the Safe Harbor Clinic parking lot located at King Street and South Winooski Avenue (essentially, one-half block east of the Hood Plant parking lot) starting at 11:30am. The march officially begins at 12pm from King Street and South Winooski Avenue. Begin on South Winooski Avenue (at King Street). Turn left (west) on Main Street, turn right (north) on Church Street, turn left (west) on Pearl Street into Battery Park. We hope to see you there!! . . . . . . . . . . . Mad Pride is about shedding shame, challenging discrimination, advocating for rights, affirming mad identities, remembering and participating in mad history, and having fun! We are excited to welcome partner organizations and projects to table at Mad Pride 2025. This is a community event that amplifies the mad liberation movement, which we recognize is intersectional, multifaceted, and only possible with collaboration across movements. We welcome you to complete this Tabling Interest Form to indicate your interest in being part of this year's event (found on linktr.ee/madpridevt). All submissions will be reviewed, and approved community partners will receive confirmation before the event. Community partners are required to bring everything you will need for vending, including a table, chairs, and a tent canopy if you desire. Vendors typically set up their vending booths along the perimeter of the event. Volunteers will be on-site to help direct the set-up process. Note: For Trailblazer sponsorships (donations of $2,500 and up), we provide a table, two chairs and a tent canopy.
