Tao Dass’ second single ‘Todo Cambia’ was recorded, produced, and mixed at Mad Monk Studios. Strings grow and recede over time, carrying a sense of change without announcing it. The cover was captured from across the street, framing Tao Dass in a window in Mexico City’s historic center, a moment of observation within an ever-changing flow.
In collaboration with @enlasuperficie we designed a wooden tray that stands like a small coliseum.
Carved from solid ash wood through CNC machining and finished with natural hardwax oil, the concentric steps create rhythm and depth.
A functional object for everyday rituals. Now available on the MMS Shop.
For ‘Travesía En Contra’, the debut album by Charly Rodríguez, we developed a visual identity rooted in nature and material memory.
Photographed on Polaroid beneath blooming jacarandas, the cover honors the analog spirit of the project and the wood that gives voice to the double bass. A return to origin, to matter, to sound. An analog gesture for an analog record.
Now available as a limited edition TapTape.
Observing the spatial evolution of our new home.
A longitudinal study of four distinct volumes, conceived with architect Mariel Lozano. The design intent is to establish a creative sanctuary, a seamless spatial transition grounded in tactile materiality and controlled, diffused lighting.
This space has been taking shape since 2022, and we look forward to welcoming you in the next.
Remembering ‘música para una película que no existe’, the instrumental EP by Vanessa Zamora. We recorded three of its tracks—japón, beso, and caballos—in 2020 on our Boston upright piano by Steinway & Sons. A soft, surreal score for a film seen in a dream.
For electronic music producer and DJ Solar X, we created a visual identity defined by precision and minimal depth—an intentional integration of styling, photography, and graphic design that mirrors her sound.
Revisiting our work for Penumbra, an electronic label based in Mexico. We created a visual and musical identity shaped by contrast, drawing from the tension between light and shadow, and the energy held in eclipse.
A glimpse into ‘Luces Rojas’, the debut single by Biz. Shot on Super8 in Los Dinamos, the video captures the raw stillness of the project—natural, textured, and grounded. Recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered at Mad Monk Studios.
