Hey everyone! I’m Madli — a freelance motorsport photographer from Estonia 🇪🇪, currently living in the Netherlands 🇳🇱.
Since 2019, I’ve been capturing race-weekend moments and helping teams, riders and organisations grow their online presence through authentic storytelling. 🏍️🏁
A appreciation post for ESR riders at the Triangle. You guys truly had balls of steel. Through the rain, the wind, and even moments of sunshine, you gave it everything out there.
Respect to every single rider who took on the challenge of the North West 200.
And thank you to @es.roadracing for making this possible. 🙏
Hengelo! A long overdue post, but here’s a quick selection from an unforgettable weekend. 🇳🇱🔥
The full gallery is finally up — I’ll share the link ASAP, so keep an eye on my stories.
I also want to apologize to all the riders who had to wait longer than they should have for their photos. Thank you for the patience. 🙏
I’m learning, improving and pushing myself every race weekend — and I promise I’ll do better heading into Imatra.
Part 1. We’ll see how many parts this story gets, because this place… the last week was insane.
Being one of the only female photographers out at the track, dealing with rain, sunshine and wind(with a HUGE ASS SMILE ON MY FACE CONSTANTLY) ,
At the North West 200, I felt at home.
I don’t want to do anything else with my life than create images that capture the feeling, the atmosphere and the experience of road racing.
I loved every single moment of it.
And I know I will again in the future.
Between 2022 and 2025, everything changed. I stopped just taking photos of racing and started creating within it.
I learned by doing — lots of trial, error, missed shots, and late-night edits.
By 2023 I began chasing emotion, not just motion — the light, the quiet, the moments in between.
I also started capturing life next to the track — the fans, the families, the people behind the scenes.
Because racing isn’t just speed; it’s the stories that surround it.
Over the years I’ve tried new ways to make paddock life more fun and bring fans closer to riders — from guessing games and childhood-photo stories to fan-voted trophies 🏆.
Last year I added lens signing and a reaction game; I’m always nervous to ask riders, but everyone’s been so open and kind. The feedback keeps me inspired to try new ideas..
These years shaped me.
They taught me that photography isn’t just about capturing speed — it’s about connection, creativity, and courage to try something new.
1 If you asked me to choose my favorite pictures, it’s like asking me to pick a favorite dog breed — you just can’t! 🐶📸
2–6 Something that l have been trying more this year — interacting with riders at the cooldown lap! Definitely my favorite post-race picture of 2025. 🏁🔥
7-14 I started capturing life next to the track — the people, families, and energy behind it all. I began chasing emotion, not just motion. ❤️
15 Started creating ways to bring fans closer to the riders — even let them vote for their favorite rider (yes, with a real trophy 🏆)
16 Always being humbled.
17–19 My trusty Canon 80D stayed with me for a long time. I upgraded from the Canon 70–200 mm f/2.8 L (first gen) to the second.
The flash. Haven’t used it much yet — maybe that’s a project for 2026.
Latest gear: Canon R7 + Canon 70–200 mm f/2.8 L II ;
50 mm F1.8, and RF-S 10–18 mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM.
Ideally, you don’t need much — you just need to know how to use it. 💪
