I’m beyond excited to serve the neighbors of Altadena on Lake Ave! We signed the lease for this space the day before the fires broke out and like so many others were unsure if this space was spared. It wasn’t until we were able to get an escort after an event to feed and serve first responders that we found the space had survived. What was a cool moment was looking inside our space and seeing people’s belongings inside. Things like grandfathers clocks, hope chests, photo albums, etc from people who evacuated and looked for a safe place to keep and store their valuable memories. I felt that in a deep sense and the responsibility of it. I hope Mad Lab will always be the place where people look to as a safe place to store their valuable memories. That we help in the keeping of your valuable memories, the creation of your valuable memories, and the joy in the sharing of those valuable memories. We’ll see you soon Altadena. ❤️
