I made this wedding guest dress using the Emerson bodice + Persephone skirt and was trying to get one cute video with my husband… but apparently “spin me, then kiss me” was too many directions 🤣

My husband and I went to a wedding this weekend, so obviously I had to make a new dress 🤍
I used the Emerson bodice with the mini flutter sleeve and added the Persephone skirt. I lengthened the midi ruffle into a maxi. I chose a linen blend fabric, which ended up being perfect for an outdoor Texas ceremony. The linen had a little more weight than I expected, so I added a belt to pull the waist in and help support the fuller skirt. Paired with boots, it felt like the perfect Texas spring wedding outfit 🤠
We actually have another wedding in a few weeks, and it’s formal this time… so naturally I’m already planning the next dress 😂 I’m thinking another Persephone hacked into a maxi because I loved how this one turned out!
