As part of the MADE visits, we explored the urban layers of Eixample guided by architect, professor and director of ETSAV, Pere Fuertes.
The visit engaged with the evolution of the district, from low-density blocks and permeable interiors to later transformations.
Many thanks to @perefuertes for the generous walk and valuable insights into reading Eixample through its open spaces.
As part of the MADE visits, we had the opportunity to visit the new exhibition spaces at Montjuïc Castle guided by architect Bernat Hernández.
The project, developed by Labaula Cooperativa in collaboration with studio Origoni Steiner for the new exhibition spaces in the Pati d’Armes. The intervention thoughtfully integrates contemporary exhibition design within the historic fabric of the castle.
Many thanks to Bernat for the generous tour and for sharing valuable insights into the project.
