Set within a former newspaper building, The Slaak Rotterdam brings together heritage and a confident contemporary identity.
For this project, Made Specific developed bespoke lighting solutions across the entire hotel, from guest rooms to social and meeting spaces. Each element was carefully designed to support both atmosphere and function, while staying true to the building’s strong character.
From warm, intimate lighting in the rooms to more sculptural pieces in the public areas, the result is a layered and cohesive experience, where light helps define how each space is felt and used.
