I’m a very disorganised person. Our kitchen counter is just a put down area for everyone’s ‘stuff’ - which makes cleaning it very difficult.

1 Don’t put down, put it away.
Get into the habit of putting it away it will only take you a few more seconds that will save you time in the long run.
2 Give everything a home
Not all clutter needs to be donated or thrown away, sometimes things just have a home. Give everything you own a home so you know exactly where everything is.
3. If it takes less than a minute to do, do it
now.
Doing quick simple jobs as they appear such as putting shoes away or wiping down surfaces will save you time later.

We want to wish Sir David Attenborough a very happy 100th birthday!
I met Sir David Attenborough ten years ago (he was a sprightly 90 year old then) and that meeting changed the course of my life.
I was just the event photographer, but he spoke to me with the same enthusiasm and generosity as he did with the politicians and other esteemed guests in that room.
The thing was, that it wasn’t about him.
Every conversation came back to the same thing: - the planet, nature, wildlife, and what we’re leaving behind for future generations.
There was a genuine sadness and urgency about the damage being done to the world around us.
That meeting stayed with me for years.
It changed how I thought about consumption, waste, chemicals in the home, and the kind of world we’re creating for our children.
I knew it had to start at home - I started looking at the amount of plastics we used on a daily basis, and started looking at ways to refill products to reduce plastic consumption.
And honestly, it became one of the main reasons we started MadeKind -to create products that felt kinder - to our homes, our health and the planet. Refill not replace.
As he turns 100 today,
I think his message matters more than ever;
“Nature once determined how we survive. Now we determine how nature survives.”
