What's up everybody? I wanted to shed some light on situation that is not focused on complaining about the draft,  but IS focused on a small business in our community.
Our friends over at Maddy Lafferty and Danielle Mashuda at Club Cafe are really struggling to try to keep this venue that means so much to everyone in the community alive.
They are reaching out for support and have a GoFund me to try to keep the doors open.  I've been playing for 20+ years and every band I've ever been in has played there in some capacity.
It's been my training camp, -- a place where I was able to hone my skills and develop my artistry in a live setting.
It's not easy, running a restaurant, a bar bar or venue.
They reopened that place because they care about Pittsburgh, the artists, the musicians and the people in the most genuine manner.
I wanted to use my platform to bring attention to this so that we can come together as a community and try to help them in any way that we can to support keeping the doors of this special place open.

Running Club Cafe this past year has meant everything to us.
This room has so much history. For years, it’s been a place where artists got their start, where people fell in love with live music, and where nights turned into memories you carry with you. Getting the chance to be a part of that story and help carry it forward has been something we don’t take lightly.
Honestly, what’s made this year so special isn’t just the shows, it’s the people.
Our team members who show up every day and give this place their heart. The artists who trust our stage and feel safe in our space. The regulars, the first timers, the sold-out rooms, the quiet nights that still feel like magic.
Like any older building, we’ve had to take on some unexpected repairs along the way, plus navigate weather and rising costs, but we’ve learned so much, made important changes, and feel really excited about where things are heading.
We’re building something sustainable here, and we truly believe in its future.
To keep that momentum going, we’re raising $35,000 to recoup unexpected expenses of essential repairs needed and continue investing in this space the way it deserves.
