I put in a lot of work this year, glad it finally paid off. Couldn’t he happier to get a buck like this off public land. 7x5 with all its stickers/cheaters. And a big thank you @dakota.vieira for bringing me water and helping pack this out!
First race of the season was messy one. Heat 1 guy stalled in front of me and parked me off the start and was set to about dead last, fought through and made it back to P4. Second heat and main were pretty uneventful with a P4 and P5 overall. Starting to feel more comfortable in the car, still getting used to throwing a AWD car into turns after racing 2x4 all my life, but car ran amazing and drove it on the trailer with only a broken radiator mount. Looking forward to improving in the upcoming races. Thank you to everyone thats helped me along the way to get to where i am now! 📸: @fishfam_log
Round 8&9 of @estreetmxpark in the books. Yxz motor isnt back, so I decided to try to kick off the dust and race the quad class. So i hit up @jacobjohanns and luckily he was cool enough to let me run my old quad. Moto1: the clutch was way out of adjustment, so i wasnt able to line up, so they threw the green and i just got some much needed seat time. Moto 2: figured out the clutch issues and me and @itsmater_1 had a solid 1 lap battle until he had transmission issues and couldnt finish, 3 laps later i threw a chain and also DNF’d. MAIN: got a good launch but couldnt shift into 3rd gear, not sure if it was my fatigue or a transmission issue, but was running 4th after the start, passed 2nd and 3rd in the first split lane, and chased after 1st. Took me a few laps but got by and got the overall. Sunday heat one i sat out due to fear of trans issues, came for moto 2 and lead start to finish. Main got a good start, ran close down the first straight, but after turn 2 lead the rest of the race. 1-1 both days. Cant thank everyone enough for all the support throughout the weekend. And thanks @buddsskycam for the badass footage!
