I will FOREVER be grateful for the bride who said “I love your work, and I trust you” @kimbossible_ Out of that, I was able to artistically express my best interpretation for what she wanted🤎 I had actually already completed her bridal bouquet, complete with hanging amaranth, anthuriums and other lovelies that would hold up in the August heat. But, as I walked into my Dahlia garden the morning of her wedding the sherbet tones of Ferncliff Spice from @flowerwellny & Hy Sun from @beachcityblooms inspired me to pivot and use my other stem of this incredible orchid to create something uniquely special. This bridal bouquet will forever be a favorite of mine. Thank you for your trust in me. So grateful to be a small part of your story 🤎

The birds loved this one 😭🐦🗣️ My spicy 🌶️ raspberry & ochre flower order… fell in love with too many varieties from @selectseeds so hoping someone loves this take on a garden party as much as I do so all of these flowers can go to them!😍

This one is deeply sentimental 🦋✨ Honorable mentions that didn’t make it into the video would be: foxglove, muscari and probably some butterfly ranunculus too 🥹💜

My absolute STUNNER of a bride, trusted me to make her elopement bouquet with few requests: spring florals & some pastel color. I was so excited to deliver this to her. 🧚‍♀️💗🌼 Photos by her special sister who generously recommended me to her 🥹 📸: @laurenborits 💄: @kriskoskella

Maddipcreative thinks it’s cool to be regenerative and organic for not just your food, but your flowers too. This year I’m expanding my offerings to bring that to my clients. So please tell me, are you team colorful or neutral wedding?! 👇🏼 Also, are there any flowers you would DIE to see in the local Los Angeles area?!

Grown by me for a special buttermilk and honey colored wedding. The zinnias just have to be local 🐝 Also pictured: flowering tobacco

One day last year I remember arriving home in the early evening. I went to water my dahlias, (I opted to deeply water by hand instead of putting a drip line in since it was year one of amending deep clay) … the golden hour was disappearing, and the dusk was settling in between the sparkles on the flowers. I felt giddy. I grew these. I had a feverish thought-what if I cut all the pretties—just for me? Well, this was the purpose of cultivating these flowers after all. To arrange with my bare hands, to create art from the earth. I cut a number of stems, and was very satisfied with my cutesy bucket. I think I actually ran (as quick as you can run with a bucket full of sloshing water) to make this arrangement. I quickly popped some chicken wire I had into a handmade vessel out of clay artisans in Ojai… Each stem up until this moment… very very intentional. The light was kind to me. Letting me capture a grainy video, before disappearing behind the mountains. This is the art I bring to you. The eagerness for growth each day, the beauty I demand to be wielded as the season trucks on. It shows up in different ways than I expect. But damn, I’m grateful to know this feeling.
