As I step into 40, I celebrate God’s faithfulness and mercy over my life. Every lesson, every blessing, every challenge has shaped me into who I am today. I’m covered by His grace and walking boldly into this new chapter. Chapter 40 looks good on me. 🙏🏾 Captured by @lyfpixels

Birthdays have honestly never been easy for me. Every year around this time, depression and anxiety would slowly creep in, and instead of excitement, everything just felt heavy. But this year is different. For my 40th, I chose healing.I chose peace.I chose joy. I’m in Thailand, actually living and allowing myself to be happy because God didn’t bring me this far just to leave me in a dark place. In 2016, I came to Canada with nothing but faith. No money, no clear direction… just hope in God. Now I can clearly see His hand in every step of my journey. I’ve built a life for myself.I’m raising my son with love and purpose.And I get to use my hands to create beauty as a hairstylist making women feel confident every day. Through everything, I’m still standing. “Ebenezer — thus far the Lord has helped me.” (1 Samuel 7:12) I’m truly grateful for how far He has brought me, and I trust Him for where He’s taking me next.
