2025. The year our dreams became a reality.
This year has almost come to a close, and I don’t even know where to begin.
2025 has been the fastest and most rewarding year of my life!
The joy and pride I had felt this year has been immeasurable. My friends, family, and coworkers have truly shown up to support me, and I a continuously humbled by their faith in me.
My heart is so full of gratitude. The blessings that have been showered on my family this year are not lost on me. Handling 3 successful businesses is not an easy task, especially with little ones.
Thank you to everyone that has supported and believed in our little family. I can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store for us!

We are still giddy today after such a successful Grand Re-Opening of Loudoun Cider House last night! Our hearts are full seeing so many friends, families, and neighbors come together to sip cider, enjoy music, and celebrate community right here in Lucketts. 💛

My favorite thing about work is the people. The line between business and personal has always been blurry when it comes to the wedding/photography/art world since so much of it involves investing yourself and your heart into projects. It's where I've met most of my best friends and the best people I know (so many hearts of gold who bend over backwards for their loved ones, or hold kind boundaries, or get vulnerable at the drop of a hat, which are just my kind of humans). Sometimes these people have folded me into their worlds, their other friends, their families.
This people right here instantly became my work bestie but then my regular bestie. We started a business together, traveled together, planned together, introduced each other to our parents, siblings, her kids, spent birthdays together, had quiet nights in, listened to each other's rambling voice messages, started a holiday shopping tradition, turned to each other when life dropped curve balls, anvils, and wildflowers alike into our laps. Last year, on her 30th birthday, she gave birth to her sweet little rainbow baby, so this year, we're so excited to celebrate her again 💗 happy (almost) birthday, Macy!

Romanticizing my life because I can’t believe this is where we are. To think that not long ago I was in the depths of despair, and yet, here we are.
This last few months haven’t been easy with the move and newest business endeavor, but I am hopeful that we fit comfortably in the groove soon.
For now I’ll be soaking up the sunsets, appreciating the wild flowers, and savoring the little giggles.
🤩 The secret is finally out!!! I have been working incredibly hard behind the scenes to pull off the biggest surprise of my life.
I’m am so excited to finally announce Cory and I are the official new owners of the beautiful 48 Fields wedding venue and Loudoun Cider House. It still doesn’t feel real to say it. I will explain more about how this happened in another post, but first I have some thank yous to make.

To echo Kelly, I will not be changing 48 Fields. I will only be enhancing the property with new ideas while keeping the core values.
