My Dad holding yours truly. I was about a year old. I’ve always loved this picture. My Dad was a graphic artist and designer specializing in commercial lettering, woodworking, murals, calligraphy, portraits and drawing/sketching. He spent some time teaching me many of these art forms. He loved nature, animals, old barns and Victorian houses and architecture, humor, people that were genuine and he was an inspired gospel teacher. I love and miss you, Dad.
My Dad was a Master Graphic Design artist. I was blessed with some of his artistic attributes. Recently, I decided to spend some time drawing, and chose a cowboy boot I picked up at an antique store in Ogden when I wasn’t needed on a film set. What you see here is about 5 hours of work. Still not finished, but I thought I would share it with a few friends.
