It’s maintenance day here in Great Bend. We are changing rods, inspecting our @cp_carrillo pistons and changing retainers and valve springs. As always our @cleanboostoil keeps everything looking brand new.
People often ask why we drag race. Why we spend the money, the late nights in the shop, and countless hours chasing the next hundredth of a second. From the outside, it probably doesn’t make much sense. All that work for a few seconds down the track.
But drag racing has never been just about the run.
It’s about the people beside you in the pits. Family working together, solving problems, turning wrenches, and chasing the same goal. It’s the friendships built in the staging lanes and the respect shared between competitors who understand the grind.
It’s the moment on the starting line when everything goes quiet and months of hard work come down to a flash of green.
And when the win light turns on, it’s the celebration that follows—high fives, hugs, and smiles with the people who made it possible.
The trophies will collect dust someday, but the memories never will.
We drag race for the moments, the family, and the passion.

It was a love hate relationship for us and Las Vegas this weekend. Car ran well. Responded to the changes we made and we really think we have a car that can compete in the 1/4 mile with more room to improve. We qualified 12 in a very stout field that was packed tight. Can’t thank @jeffpiercetuning for his continued support and help while tuning two @ktrdragracing pro mods. He is one of the best for a reason. Our weekend fell short in the first round when we had a parts failure that damaged quite a bit. Steve is sore, but he is doing well. The amount of support we had all weekend for the car and for Steve was amazing. Appreciate everyone who checked in. We are headed home earlier than we wanted but we will assess, rebuild, and be back at some point. Can’t thank our sponsors enough for the support all year! Onto 2026
