God sent Moses(Musa) to tell the wicked leaders of Egypt to let his people go… (Surah al- A’rāf 7:103) (Exodus 8:1, 9:1)
The People of Sudan and Palestine suffer mass violence and displacement in the hands of the wicked. This story reminds us that God stands with the oppressed and calls out injustice. Faith does not permit silence in the face of suffering. To stay quiet is to turn away from those crying out for freedom, so we must make sure to share and enlighten ourselves and others that we must do something about such issues and oppression.
And We intended to favour those who were oppressed in the land, and to make them leaders and make them inheritors
(Surah al-Qaṣaṣ 28:5 )
God sides with the oppressed, overturns unjust power, and restores dignity and inheritance.
