Ya girl is back baaaaaby! Lol back out of retirement... i know ive said it a few times over the last 20 years ..but i really think this is the year im back! It felt sooooooo good to get back out on the court and hit .. granted i had no stamina i was done after 30/40 mins 😅 .. and no footwork and my timing was off ... but boyyyy all those 1000000000s of swings i did as a kid with the medicine ball and the weighted racket sure had my form and rhythm intact! Cheers to muscle memory! For those of you that might not know .. this is how i came to the U.S. On a tennis scholarship!!! . i was ranked Top 3 in the nation (India) once upon a time! I'm home in Bombay visiting my parents and there's a tennis court right by my building and i could hear the sound of the ball and hear the sound of the impact of the racket hitting the ball it just resurrected something in me .. I HAD TO PLAY! i dont have rackets here i dont have tennis shoes here but these kind young kids were willing to not just let your girl hit with them but they also let me use their rackets!
