An unforgettable night! I’m deeply grateful to have received the SOVAS Award for Best Director – Dubbing for TV or Motion Picture (English Language). Sharing this moment made it even more meaningful: my dear and incredibly talented @eddyplayer01 also won Best Dubbing Performance – Motion Picture for voicing the lead I directed in Latin Blood. From the very first casting session, I knew he was the perfect choice — and he truly shined. Latin Blood is a Brazilian work of art, telling with sensitivity and courage the story of @neymatogrosso — a film about love, authenticity, and truth. Grateful to @esmirfilho for this beautiful creation. Now streaming on @netflix As if this night couldn’t get any more special, my beloved daughter @luizacesar received the Outstanding Dubbing – TV or Film (Portuguese Language) award. I had the honor of returning to the stage to accept it on her behalf, filled with pride and joy. Today the Universe gifted me with such a joyful surprise! Right next door to the studio where I was directing the dubbing of a film was @krobrock , the official voice of Minnie in the U.S. 💖 And I’m Minnie’s voice in Brazil. 🇧🇷🎀🇺🇸 My dear sound engineer joked: “Wow, we have both Minnies here today!” I couldn’t believe it and ran to hug her. We had already exchanged messages through DM, but finally the Universe made this meeting happen when we least expected it. It felt like reuniting with an old friend—my heart was full of love and joy! I’ve been listening to her voice for so many years while dubbing Minnie that it felt like we had always known each other. Of course, we took photos and a video to celebrate this special moment. I may sound repetitive, but I will never stop being grateful for all the wonderful surprises life and the Universe bring me. Kaitlyn, it’s a pleasure and a joy to be part of the magic of being Minnie with you! Hoje o Universo me presenteou com mais uma alegria!
