RIDCC 2026 - “The world’s biggest choreographic duet competition”
We are so happy and proud to celebrate that the duet “Young Woman with her eyes closed, c.1890”, choreographed by Alex Soares ( @alexsoares_81 ), is one of the selected entries for RIDCC 2026.
The duet premiered with the cast of Maxmiler ( @maaxjunio ) and Maria Eduarda Castro ( @mduda.castro ) with @koma.ballet in BRIDGES, in January, in Odense.

In June 2026, choreographic talent from all over the world will travel to Rotterdam for the eighth edition of the Rotterdam International Duet Choreography Competition (RIDCC). The sixteen participants will present their duets live in the theater to the audience in Rotterdam and through our livestream all over the world.

Hoje encerro a temporada de 2025 com o coração cheio de gratidão por tudo que pude experienciar como artista. What a special year… so much lived.
Today I close the 2025 season with a heart full of gratitude for everything I was able to experience as an artist. I danced, directed, choreographed, created, edited, documented, and expressed myself in so many different ways. I’m grateful for the many encounters and people who crossed my path this year.

Hoje faz 1 semana que estou na Dinamarca novamente.
E que momento especial…
Voltar a um lugar que foi tão importante pra mim é como reencontrar sentimentos, sensações e escolhas que me construíram até aqui. É reviver, mas também é viver coisas novas. Diferentes. Mais maduras. Mais conscientes.
Esse post é pra agradecer.
Pra registrar aqui — e principalmente na memória — o quanto eu sou grato e o quanto estou feliz.
A dança segue me levando a lugares e encontros que um dia eu jamais imaginei alcançar.
Ela me atravessa, me move, me apresenta ao mundo e, de alguma forma, me traz sempre de volta a mim mesmo.
Só gratidão.
Pelo caminho. Pelas pessoas. Pela vida.

Today marks one week since I’ve been back in Denmark.
And what a special moment…
Returning to a place that was so important to me feels like reconnecting with feelings, sensations, and choices that shaped who I am today. It’s reliving — but also living something new. Different. More mature. More conscious.
This post is to give thanks.
To register here — and especially in my memory — how grateful I am and how happy I feel.
Dance keeps taking me to places and encounters I once never imagined reaching.
It moves through me, carries me forward, introduces me to the world, and somehow always brings me back to myself.
Just gratitude.
