Long time, no running content…
This is how my absence from running over the past three months might have looked from the outside. The reality is that I was dealing with a serious injury that forced me to slow down completely.
As the year comes to an end, I can proudly say this is gradual comeback 2.0 - very much like in 2021. Through pain, rehab, rest, and small doses of sport, I’ve been focusing on healing and getting back on track.
Being able to rejoin my running crew, my team, my friends means everything to me. To run with them, support them, and simply be present again is something I truly missed. It’s genuinely breathtaking to see people join our crew, train together, share the distance and conversations, and then one day you’re standing there watching them crush their first 10K, their first half marathon or setting another personal best. And not long after, you’re suddenly travelling for the same race and standing next to them: cheering and running together, still cherishing those moments from Berlin Half Marathon we did with
@pobejalii1 @bear_morisson and Anvar. Some even get so fast that you simply admire how far they’ve come. They don’t just grow, they start inspiring you to work harder yourself. Seeing that transformation never gets old. Those moments bring so damn proud feelings and that’s exactly what our amazing community is about.
I’m also incredibly happy about a decision I made more than six months ago, appointing
@barahavlenova as the leader and captain of Prague Running Crew. While it’s not a formal title, it carries real responsibility: leadership, dedication, sacrifice, and the drive to constantly make things better. She has been leading and growing this community for half a year now, and without her with or without my presence the Prague Running Crew would not be where it is today - just on top.
