One year since the best day (or week) of our lives ❤️
A bachelorette with besties, yoga, playing mermaids, multiple whale sightings, singing karaoke, watching Mamma Mia, picnicking, and so much wine. A welcome party on the lawn with a VW van Photo Booth at sunset and a flash mob to Dancing Queen by the Wong family. An intimate ceremony with the most gorgeous floral arch and arrangements I could’ve ever imagined in a dress that was custom made for me in Shanghai, with vog from the most recent volcano eruption to soften the afternoon light and make the most incredible sunset, and a sea turtle who joined our dinner and cocktail hour on the beach. A windless night (in February?!!) and the perfect temperature, a full moon, and a night of dancing and bubbles with our friends and family. A delicious farewell brunch overlooking the ocean before going off on our mini moon…
Marrying your best friend is pretty amazing

In a remarkable coincidence, at the end of 2023, around the same time I was cast in The Wedding Banquet Musical, my cousin Dale was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, a highly aggressive, fast-growing brain cancer, the same rare disease Wai Tung’s father suffers from in the musical. Since then, Dale has been living life to the fullest as he always has, at the same time fighting this terrible disease with every available tool, but as you can imagine, the cost of treatments both traditional and experimental, deductibles, and upcoming premium hikes are staggering, which is why I’m asking for your help. This holiday season, please consider donating to one of the warmest, most optimistic, and most generous people I’ve ever known as he and his family navigate this extremely difficult time. If you can’t afford to give and would like to share any thoughts, prayers, stories, or well-wishes, I’ll be sure to pass them along. Wishing you all a merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year. (Link in bio.)
