This special pre-ceremony moment still gets me š they opted for a first touch versus a first look to still have the traditional aspect of seeing the bride for the first time walking down the aisle.
During the first touch, Drew and Katie read notes and prayers they had prepared for one another. It was a beautifully intimate, vulnerable and tender moment just before becoming wed š„¹š¤
Emma and Emilyās ceremony was more than just a perfectly sunny 70Ā° day without a dry eye in sight (even though it was those things).
They also had a little surprise to share with everyoneā¦
They werenāt actually getting married that day..they were celebrating their one-year anniversary!
A year ago, on Pi Day, they decided waiting even longer to get married just wasnāt for them. So they went to the courthouse, made it official, and of courseā¦ celebrated with pie š„§
What an honor it was to capture their vow renewal and the moment they revealed the surprise to all their family and friends.
