Heya everyone! This is probably the biggest thing I’ve ever done. I’m so incredibly excited to announce the launch of my very own record label: “Antithesys Records”!
For most of 2022,
@dyskmusic and I have been working together to make a label that would foster creativity/experimentation, and aid artists as much as it possibly could. We personally have had plenty of our own frustrations with parts of the music industry (and I’m sure many artists out there can say the same), so we wanted to work through that process differently. We wanted to offer more to artists, take less for ourselves, and let artists experiment/take more chances on creative ideas. The result was Antithesys: a multi-genre EDM label.
We weren’t expecting much from it. We thought this would be a fun side project that we could work on, but as soon as we started to talk about this idea with others, it spread like wildfire, and we knew that there were a lot of people that experienced the same frustrations as we did. We realized this could be a chance to benefit not just the smaller creators of our community, but even larger ones further down the line. So we worked hard.
Now in 2023, I’m so excited to announce the first ever compilation album on Antithesys Records: Spectrum. 12 tracks of incredibly varying genres, from some absolutely incredible talent.
