Never made a costume before but when my mom brought out a costume pattern book from the 80s this good… it was a done deal. Ended up drafting my own pattern and CAN YOU BELIEVE I found this green scaled velvet in a sad fabric section at the back of a suburban Michaels!??
An incomplete smattering of some things I knit and sewed including a sweater for Thomas (back on the needles to fix the sleeves 😩), a rust colored cardigan and butterfly skirt for Rose, some baby bonnets, a skirt, and some pants for myself, etc!!!
My postpartum brain thought it was **very necessary** to knit a warm romper for my wintertime baby the week I got home ❄️ This is the Little Brother Romper from @petiteknit in unknown stash yarn 🩶
The day after Christmas we were meant to drive home from our visit to Atlanta, but instead we drove to the hospital to meet our baby! Claire Margaret Wallis was born at 2:15pm, weighing 5lbs 8oz. We’re so happy to have her here ❤️
