Amazing that Nadav’s monumental Yangtze River project started exactly twenty years ago and are still some of the most indelible photographs the gallery exhibited in China. Stay tuned for more exhibitions and works from Nadav later this year!
The Project Space now open in the SoWa arts district in Boston at 580 Harrison Avenue 4F. Rania Matar’s amazing work from the Middle East is on view through September 19. Open to public Mon-Fri 10am-5pm or by appointment.

‘A Hundred Years’ installation work by artist Cai Dongdong shows 2000+ vintage anonymous portrait photographs depicting China across the 20th century as it spanned three tumultuous phases: the post empirical ‘Republican” era 1910-1950, the Mao era 1950-1980, and later the opening and reforms era that started with Debg Xiaoping 1980-2010.

A suitably private covid vernissage at Robert Klein Gallery toasting to Han Feng’s new body of pandemic produced photographs “The Gift” on view through March 13 at @robertkleingallery check it out online or at the gallery, link in bio. Gallery is open by appointment.
———
“The Gift marks Han Feng’s first exhibition of her fine art photographs. The title of the exhibition comes from her love of ceramics, cuisine, and photography. All the fruits and vegetables in the images were sourced from local specialty and farmers markets in New York City. The ceramic objects and sculptures used in her photographs are gifts from artists around the world as well as pieces from her private collection. “The earth gives us these beautiful even ordinary things,” she says, referring to the food objects in her pictures. “I love to share them with friends, I really feel like they are a gift.”
