Grateful for a quarter that didn’t just give wins but taught me how to earn them. Q1 taught me this: it’s not the wins, it’s the discipline to keep going when things wobble. It wasn’t perfect.. but it built the version of me that keeps showing up.

🏅Finalist #AUEU25 #ThroughOurLens #photocompetition 📸 🇳🇬 Favour Megwara @m4mega with “Diver City” depicts synchronized divers as a reflection of diversity & shared ambition. #AUEU partnership empowers young people & turns potential into opportunity. “Two elite swimmers execute a synchronized dive. They highlight the ‘diver city’ (diversity) of athletes competing together, united by a powerful moment of pure focus and motion.” European Union & #Africa partnership is about how security and prosperity in both continents are intertwined, about creating bonds, about empowering young people, celebrating diversity, turning potential into opportunity. Sport is also part of it. As an example, the recent agreement between European Commission and Confederation of African Football AfricanFootball TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations will reach up to 33,000 education institutions across Africa: using sport to keep kids in school and creating the conditions to tap their potential - on and off the pitch.

Created these portraits for Oladotun Ajayi some months back, but for one reason or another, I kept stalling on putting them out. But I think today presents itself as the perfect time to share them. Here’s to the best that is yet to come. Happy birthday, Oladotun Ajayi 🎖️👏

Not the face, but the assignment. Not the man, but the message. The sun behind him. A crowd before him. Heaven within him. Backlit by the sun, yet carrying a greater light. A silhouette on earth, a vessel in purpose. ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace’ Romans 10:15 And in that moment, under open skies, the Word found its way into waiting hearts. Something happened today. We had packed up our gear. The Fire Conference was over, but then a moment I have always looked forward to popped up. And trust me, there was no time to set up the camera because I had a lot of luggage on me. And it was a moment that I’m very sure will be quite important and candid in probably 20 years from now, if Jesus tarries. We’ve always heard the stories of the old fathers of faith and how they converged, but we never saw the digital footprints — just stories. And it was what majorly inspired me to tilt into kingdom photography for moments like this. I take it as my responsibility to document gospel ministers in such an iconic and historic way. So this was just a brief convergence and conversation of Evangelist Du Toit with other younger evangelists who were around for the crusade. They shared words of encouragement, a few laughs, and more encouragement. I really loved the serenity around what was happening and saw the need and importance to document it. In my head, I was imagining how young Bishop Oyedepo, Pastor Kumuyi, Pastor Adeboye, and others probably converged with Billy Graham and Reinhard Bonnke. It was just so serene, and I’m very certain that this photo will leave a very huge footprint in years to come. Had to alternate with my phone to take this moment. I’m very certain about this one. I wasn’t trying to be super creative with the shot or too technical. I just captured the real emotion right in front of me. I also chose to use this filter on my iPhone to give it a certain revivalistic and nostalgic feel. Just leaving my footprint here. In the Shadow of Grace Before the golden wood, time loses its grip. A silhouette carved by the seasons, yet solely defined by the Light. This Easter, we are reminded that our truest identity is not measured by the fading of youth, but illuminated by the grace that makes all things new. Strip away the years, and what remains is an enduring spirit…..eternally known, eternally held, and forever rising. 📸: Megwara Favour 2024 (@m4mega ) #EasterSunday #ResurrectionSunday #EternalIdentity #FaithOverTime
