We believe those who hold others deserve to be held, too. We’re honored to partner with mentors @lysacopper , @michaelventura , @dorcasevelene and @blumingstudio for our inaugural one-month residency and mentorship program in Brooklyn, NY. Truly a dream team of humans!
Mentorship is at the heart of this program, and the resident will receive dedicated 1:1 sessions with our four LAROTA mentors — a circle of thoughtful guides offering reflection, perspective, and grounded insight. This peer-to-peer support is rooted in trust and shared experience.

Lysa Cooper (@lysacooper ) is a stylist and creative force whose life between NY and LA has been shaped by fashion, nightlife, and culture.
She grew up in New York’s club scene, where she worked at a time when style, music, and identity collided nightly, honing her eye for style, individuality and confidence. Let me tell you, she oozes all three.
She brings all those qualities to her job as a stylist, working with everyone from Beyonce to Rihanna, to Mary J. Blige to Mos Def... she clearly has an intuitive understanding of people, image, and energy, Google her, her work is stellar.
She is a fascinating woman who I really enjoyed spending some time with… oh wait, did I mention she is also a designer for Caddis eyewear? The talent!
