It has been a month since our beloved Norman passed on. Our entire family has been extremely touched by the love and support we have received. While we haven’t been able to personally respond to everyone, we deeply appreciate all the condolences, prayers, and good wishes.
Norman had a gift in the way he touched so many lives, either through laughter or his willingness to go the extra mile for someone he barely knew. Norman was genuinely interested in others; he saw the very best in everyone he met.
After almost forty years together, our favorite topic of conversation was about God and questions of the spirit. A month before he died, he told me thanks to those long talks he now sensed he was going on a new adventure. He told me how blessed he felt to have lived such a long, loving fulfilling life. He was very content and at peace.
As I learn to navigate my life without Norman, I feel his presence everywhere, and your loving support and beautiful thoughts have been very healing. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
