CANAPÉ’S FIRST BIRTHDAY WEEKEND 21 & 22/02 – ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT LIVE PLAYING 21/02 Isidore & Lydia Lubs (he/him & she/her – @isidore.dj & @lydialubs ) Isidore & Lydia Lubs create dark and moody house music with a powerful low end. Isidore’s icy electro grooves and ethereal synths interweave with Lydia Lubs’ voice and entrancing violin strokes. The duo loves to experiment—you’ll catch hints of drone, noise and ambient in their work. Hélène (she/her – @helene.bare ) Hélène is an artist working with spoken word and sound, exploring the impact of sound on the body and mind. With a background in music and training in sound healing, she investigates the voice as a meditative instrument through performances and sound-based practices. This performance explores the voice as a meditative instrument and sound as a space for inner attention. Through improvised vocal soundscapes, singing and meditation merge into a live, intuitive practice.
