20.00: Performance ved Sei Selina Utstillingen er åpen til kl. 21.00. Fotoboken Mixed er tilgjengelig for salg i Nitjas kunstbutikk hele kvelden. Dev Dhunsi: Unmistakably You Med utgangspunkt i fotoboken Mixed folder Unmistakably You seg ut som en romlig fabel om språk, tilhørighet og «mixed» som kunstnerisk metode, og utvider bokas tematikk inn i rommet. Der boken bygget en mytisk verden over sidene, åpner utstillingen verdenen fysisk, som en labyrint av jacquard-vevde tekstiler, bambusmoduler og fotografier i stort format. Der fotoboken Mixed foreslår et eksperimentelt, mytisk rom for nye former for liv, inviterer Unmistakably You publikum til faktisk å gå inn i det. Rommet blir en øvelse i kompleksitet. Identitet er her ikke noe vi eier, men noe vi gjør—noe som vibrerer mellom materialer, minner og bevegelse. Fotoboken Mixed er tilgjengelig for salg i Nitjas kunstbutikk hele kvelden. Unmistakably You er kuratert av Kathrine Wilson, og realisert med støtte fra Billedkunstnernes Vederlagsfond og Norsk Fotografisk Fond. Utstillingen står til og med 26. april 2026. Thank you, PEN Norway, for nominating me to attend WEXFO 2025 – World Expression Forum. What does it mean to be a “young expert”? That’s a question I kept coming back to in the lead - up to this event. I found my answer within the first few hours of our participation - in the company of people who care so profoundly for their work. Through them, I too found the courage to use my own voice in ways I didn’t think I was capable of. Together, we explored some of the most pressing and uncomfortable topics of our time. We examined polarization, disinformation, democracy, autocracy, and the power of collectiveness. Both in Utøya and Lillehammer, I have experienced some of the sharpest and most courageous voices, and I have witnessed the increasingly rare commodity of the ability to stop and listen - an endangered trait. Being experts in their respective fields never stopped these young leaders from decentering their own voices, listening to, and uplifting others. I am in absolute awe. There are no words for the depth of humanity, capability, and courage that lives in the work of these incredibly talented young minds. These individuals have changed me forever. And the world is without question a better place because of them.
