DREAMCATCHER TREES This piece was inspired by my love of Los Angeles, a city I used to visit frequently during a rather transitory time in my life. But the memories will stay with me forever: traversing the verdant grounds of Chateau Marmont, lounging by the Beverly Hills Hotel pool, jogging below palm trees in Santa Monica. It was a time of big dreams and big ideas – but also longing souls, lost muses and loves cursed. It was a time of contrasts, like the city itself, with its lush greens and grey asphalt, city noise and calming sea – and me amid it all, out to capture my dreams.
