On the verge of releasing new music, I set out on a year-long live exploration With the multidisciplinary concert series 𝘴𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘧𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸 we seek to create a space for the implicit, that which might ask for a particular context: seated, muted and tuned, in collaboration with other artists I’ve been wondering if we could create something like this, musicians coincidentally in rooms too small, friends trying out songs at your kitchen table Playing new songs with my band, words by Bregje Hofstede and special guest Kika Sprangers will perform 𝘴𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘧𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸 #1 is part of the booster ctrl series in Enschede, tickets are free - hope to see you there !

📅 18 april 📍Burgerzaal

A friendly reminder: the last two weeks of Disappear at Centraal Museum Utrecht 💕 A postcard including the lyrics and a download of the music for Disappear is now available in our webshop and at the museum gift shop I want to thank everybody who reached out to me after their visits, it truly warmed my heart and made me feel so connected through the subject (and @kenza_koutchoukali wasn’t that the idea?) I’ve also made a little video to give you a glimpse of the surround experience in which I’m holding a stereo mic while walking around the pieces by @houseofrubber.xyz (headphones recommended :)) For the full sensory experience (don’t forget to touch !): on display until the 16th @centraalmuseum

Last week was opening week of Disappear at Centraal Museum during Gaudeamus 2025 • Disappear is an installation on grief made with Kenza Koutchoukali and Marlou Breuls aka House of Rubber. We attempted to make this often lonely experience more shareable through touch, space and sound. The music for Disappear appeared on my birthday at once and contains tuning orchestras, detuned synths, silence and words I not only sing but that are also there for you to read on the walls (wild!). The music will exist only in our space at the museum for now. BIG thanks to: • Shana Bossmann and Lisa Lukaszczyk for making the music come to life for the performance last week • Sam Jones for doing the math and the mix, making music for 13 speakers is not something we do everyday (yet?) • The people you can hear but can’t see: Roosmarijn Tuenter on viola, Romain Bly on horn, Frank Wienk on synths and kalimba, Loes Bisschop on guitar • Kenza and Marlou for this beautiful and memorable collaboration • Gaudeamus and Centraal Museum for the invitation, opportunity and all the help these past few months Disappear will be on display for ears/eyes/hands until the 16th of November at Centraal Museum Utrecht •

September 11 marks the opening of Disappear at @centraalmuseum . An installation that pulses with sound, touch and presence, inviting you to step into a space where grief transforms into connection. Together with Kenza Koutchoukali and Tessa Douwstra (Luwten) we have created an immersive spatial sound piece that makes grief visible, audible and tangible. Disappear invites visitors to connect in the very place where words fall short. The composition lasts 8 minutes and 30 seconds and plays continuously. Unlike most artworks in the museum, touching this installation is not only allowed but essential. Disappear is part of Gaudiamus Festival and will be on view from 11 September until 16 November at Centraal Museum Utrecht.

𝔻𝕚𝕤𝕒𝕡𝕡𝕖𝕒𝕣 with: Kenza Koutchoukali & Marlou Breuls Centraal Museum x Gaudeamus 11-09-2025 and onwards On Thursday the 11th of September I’ll be performing (in) a piece called Disappear at Centraal Museum Utrecht during the Gaudeamus festival. Kenza had this idea for an installation about grief and how to be able to share it and she directed. I wrote a song. Marlou aka House of Rubber made what’s to see and touch. Sam Jones created the sound installation. I’ll be performing together with Shana Bossmann and Lisa Lukaszczyk on the 11th and the installation will continue to be at the museum (without us physically being there) until November. Very honored to be part of this collaboration! I’m so looking forward experiencing all the parts we’ve been working on in the same room in September. Tickets for the performance available through Gaudeamus (link in bio)
