Breathwork is becoming a thing everywhere right now, and I luv that. But I also want to explain it in a way that actually makes sense, without the spiritual poetry.
Your breath is one of the fastest ways to communicate with your nervous system. No analysis needed, no years of therapy first. Your body understands breath immediately — it is a direct language it has always known.
The science is pretty clear on this. Slow, guided breathing helps your body shift out of constant stress mode. It improves the flexibility of your nervous system — something called heart rate variability, or HRV — and it reduces stress and anxiety symptoms over time. Which is why people often leave a session feeling more clear, more grounded, and more like themselves again.
This is why breathwork is at Luv Yourself Space. I lead it myself every two weeks, because it pairs beautifully with energy work — not to make sessions bigger or more intense, but to make them safer, more embodied, and more useful in your actual daily life.

Nadine curates deeply meditative experiences by integrating heart-led meditations with sound, subtle energies and co-regulation. She is committed to holding safe and inclusive spaces for others to rest, restore and connect with their divine innate qualities.
Experienced sound healer (Yoga of Sound TTC 200-hours) and mental health researcher (MSc), specialising in the therapeutic potential of altered states of consciousness. Nadine draws upon her experience and knowledge to guide inner states towards harmony, peace and love.
Benefits of sound have been scientifically proven, relaxation is guaranteed, better mood is included, joy is a part of it.

Why did we invest in Cork yoga mats?
They’re naturally antimicrobial + antibacterial, so they don’t hold odour the same way, and cleaning them is simple. They are non-slip and provide even better grip when you heat up. But they still need luv and tlc.
My easy clean mix:
✨ 1 litre lukewarm water
✨ ½ tsp gentle soap (this helps the oil blend instead of floating on top)
✨ Tea tree oil:
- 5–10 drops for everyday refresh
- 15–20 drops for a deeper clean / extra odour support
Wipe with a cloth (don’t soak it), let it air dry, and enjoy that “new mat” feeling again.
