Iāve always felt like celebrating my birthday was unnecessaryā¦ maybe even a little stupid.
I think a part of that came from not always seeing my own worth.
For the longest time, I was busy being there for everyone and everything else, often forgetting to protect my own peace.
But this time feels different.
Somewhere along the way, through so many small and quiet moments, Iāve started to appreciate the simple fact that Iām hereā¦ that I was given this life :)
When I look back at the little girl in this video, I realise she carried so many hopes in her heart.
And in my own way, step by step, Iāve been trying to honour them,
in the friendships Iāve made, the things Iāve learned, and the little milestones that once felt quite far away.
And I think thatās something worth holding gently, maybe even celebrating.
Iām really grateful for the strength that stayed, even on the days I didnāt notice it.
that ambitious mind and that stubborn little heart that kept me going.
So I guess this is a small, quiet love letter to myself.
