Think of it like a funfair, gallery, museum exhibit, all rolled into one Edge Hall 1A shaped space. That’s down the corridor, far side of the hall behind where the action is happening💥
Plus, first team players @derball_foto and @michaelawyong will be exhibiting a collection of photos taken throughout the competitive season 📸🎞️

MONDAY 27 APRIL@THE EDGE - Badminton Varsity like you’ve never seen it before. Main Card starts at 4pm. Bar and snacks open at 3.30🍻. Special shoutout to @kds_leeds who’ll be performing at 7pm 🤩🤩🤩 in the interval before our very first Varsity Mixed doubles event at the Edge. 💃🏼🕺🏻
Also, open from 12.30, come visit DISCOVER BADMINTON, our interactive exhibition where you can see how fast *exactly* you can smash a shuttle💥💪. @housruk will be there giving out free hot drinks! ☕️

It’s the second oldest inter-uni competition in the world (after the Oxford-Cambridge boat race) where Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds compete across ALL sports for the ULTIMATE annual bragging rights 🏆
This year’s cup was hosted by Liverpool, and as usual, despite weakened teams and being the underdogs in our sport, LUU Badminton stood on business 💪
Our ladies in Green took a stunning win over Liverpool - a side that demolished them earlier in the league - bagging enough rubbers to tip the 4-4 draw in their favour, and won a crucial 2 games from top-tier Manchester that clinched their second place finish. Meanwhile, the boys claimed a win over league-rivals Liverpool which also sealed a silver spot 🥈.
These turned out to be vital points in Leeds’ overall win by HALF A POINT over Liverpool making it THREE CHRISTIE CHAMPIONSHIPS IN A ROW 💚🏆🏆🏆
Admin didn’t realise we had one more home game 😅 But what a game to cap off the season tho 🙌🙌🙌. It’s been a pleasure watching this Men’s 2 team grow and define itself throughout the season. The boys played incredibly to beat 2nd-in-Division Northumbria, who had it easy last time out when we were forced to forfeit the away end bc of exams. Great result for a great group of lads and an electric swansong for our veteran-in-blonde, Tom, who clawed back 4 match points to beat their star singles in 3 sets 💪💪💪
We also held our 3rd Development Squad Friendly match, and our 2nd against Beckett this year! This time playing away and with 10 men (+ coach Sam) Beckett unfortunately got the better of us 9-5. It was however a debut experience for most of the lads who came away with a very respectable scoreline against an experienced BUCs Team!
