Creating Predictable Hair Color Results This simple approach helps you quickly identify which tonal family to add to your formula to control unwanted tones and achieve your desired result. Hair naturally reflects underlying tones that must be neutralized so they don’t interfere with your final color. Cracking the code When all three primary colors - blue, red, and yellow - are present, they neutralize each other. Color breakdown: Primary colors: Blue, Red, Yellow Secondary colors (created by mixing primaries): • Violet = Blue + Red • Green = Blue + Yellow • Orange = Red + Yellow Neutralization rule - what’s missing is what you need. • Blue → neutralized by Orange (Red + Yellow) • Red → neutralized by Green (Blue + Yellow) • Yellow → neutralized by Violet (Blue + Red) • Violet → neutralized by Yellow • Green → neutralized by Red • Orange → neutralized by Blue Another way to think about it If you see a primary tone, use a secondary color to neutralize it. If you see a secondary tone, use a primary color to neutralize it. Master this, and your color results become consistent, controlled, and predictable. #HairColorMagic #HairColorEducation #NeverStopLearning #ColorTheory #HairColorFormulation

The Lift is in the Powder Lightener. The Developer is the Energy. “When it’s wet it’s working, when it’s dry it’s dead.” Developer power matters. Understanding how your Developer works with Powder Lightener is the key to successful even lift. Next, I’m diving deep into Powder Lighteners and giving the break down of our Color Space Powder Lighteners. Stick around for PART 2 🧪💡

On The Scalp Powder Lightener Fast hands. Clean sections. Even lift. The goal isn’t faster bleach. It’s a smarter application. Here’s a favorite way to approach a short hair on-scalp bleach service ⤵️ Start in the crown. The hair is usually denser, darker, and stronger, so giving it extra processing time helps create a more even lift as you spiral outward toward the hairline. Because the hairline is usually finer, softer, faster lifting. Small adjustments with a big difference. PRO TIP #1 Powder lighteners do most of their heavy lifting in the first 20 minutes. So instead of waiting and hoping, mix a fresh ½ batch and reapply. You’ll be surprised how quickly the lift happens with fresh product. PRO TIP #2 When toning pre-lightened hair, process for 20–30 minutes for longer-lasting results. Follow with STOP Cream Oxidization Stopper + Cuticle Sealant for 3–5 minutes to: Normalize pH Shut the cuticle down 30% lasting color Visit colorspacehair.com for the beautiful ranges of Color Space™

I stopped using a ton of foils… and my blondes got brighter Not kidding… This quick foil technique uses haircutting principles: overdirection, lifting at a 45°, a little backcombing, and way fewer foils than you think. The result? Seamless, blended blonding that is fast, and the finish is everything. Angie is glossed with a ZERO ammonia-free demi formula to melt everything together. Mix 1:2 with 5 Volume ACTIVATE Developer. Process for up to 15 minutes. 10 minutes gives the perfect deposit. ZERO is perfect for glossing extensions, too. Look at that blend. Look at that tone. Even on extensions, it just hits. Ask your Color Space™ Distributor to book your “Fast Foil” Class today! Your formula isn’t random, it’s reacting. The Natural Remaining Pigment (NRP) determines your result. Ignore it = unwanted warmth Understand it = control Before you formulate, decide: Are you enhancing it or neutralizing it? That choice changes everything.
