At last but not least, to finisht it up I created a lil promo video in After Effects. Oh boy, it`s been a while since the last time I used AE, but it was fun revisiting and will probably do more stuff like this from now on.

A render is a frame. A brand is a system.
Once the image language was settled, I wanted to see if it could carry a full identity. Typography, layout, hierarchy, motion. So I kept creating billboards, digital pieces, social media, landing page, email marketing, I went all out on this one.

In product photography, the background usually serves the object.
Here I wanted it all to work together to convey the Bauhaus style. They're built at the same scale as the watch, lit with the same care, and composed so that removing any one of them breaks the image. The watch sits inside the composition, not on top of it.
The F-91W is historically black; that is its identity. So why three translucent finishes in red, yellow, and blue?
These irreducible primaries were chosen as the smallest vocabulary to describe everything. This study brings the Bauhaus aesthetic to a special edition where 1919 meets 1991, merging 90s translucent styling with the legendary efficiency of the F-91W.

So why did I choose the Casio F-91W? Beyond being an iconic watch, the reason behind its legendary presence in our day-to-day lives is that it just works. There is nothing on it that doesn't need to be there.
Besides its beautiful and simple design, its functionality is at its peak; that’s the premise this whole project sits on.
