At the end of 2023, family, friends, and the global music community experienced a profound loss through the untimely passing of Vano Chilkhladze, known as experimental composer/producer Sonic Junkie. In his honor, we have created a commemorative album entitled Boundless: A Tribute to Sonic Junkie. Featuring 16 previously unreleased tracks from artists including Rob Clouth, Kilowatts, A Path Untold, Lunecell, Aligning Minds, Pathwey, K-Rai, Jack Lion, Seeded Vision, Asan, A2K, Homospouses, Nuci Nebieridze, and Tamo Nasidze, this compilation is an homage to Vano’s eclectic taste and fearless experimentation.
It will be released on Bandcamp on May 10th, with proceeds going toward the facilitation of Sonic Junkie Recording Studio in Brooklyn, NY. (@sonicjunkierecords ).
