TONIGHT…..was EPIC! We were asked to become a string orchestra for a marriage proposal at Blue Cross Park (aka Shaw Park Stadium). We had 3 first violins, 3 second violins, 2 violas, 2 cellos, and double bass. Thanks to Mary, Hasmik, Karen Warner, Will, Emily, Vijay, Marie-Elyse, Andrea, Patricia and Jonathan Alexiuk, for helping Luminous become the cool orchestra it was tonight! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🎶🎶🎶🎻🎻🎻🌈🌈🌈❤️❤️❤️
A first for us as an orchestra. A first for us performing two Hindi tunes. But not our first marriage proposal. 😉 So…..who needs a string orchestra for their wedding? 😂😂😂

The Luminous String Quartet is a unique, eclectic string quartet in Winnipeg, made up of two violins, viola and cello, that offers one of the most diverse repertoire lists in the city. From Bach to The Beatles, Elvis to Queen, Taylor Swift to Metallica, with plenty of Canadian Classic Rock as well as TV and Movie music themes. Alan was here doing an unplugged style benefit concert for National Pet Care Fund. A worthy cause for those who are unable to provide the necessary monetary care for their animals. We sure love our fur babies. What a great show with @seankellyguitar and @jenhansonsings !! Bravo!!
