10 years ago, I was suffering from debilitating Rheumatoid Arthritis. The medical system told me I’d never heal. I could barely move, my joints were swollen and red, and I lived in constant, excruciating pain. Chronic fatigue and severe clinical depression, anxiety, and PTSD weighed me down. My body was deteriorating, and doctors warned that by 30, I’d be in a wheelchair, unable to have children due to the 17 heavy medications I was on. It was frustrating, and I felt deep sadness.
Yet, I never let go of hope. I knew deep inside that I’d find a way out of the darkness. I meditated, seeking divine guidance. Then, one day in the hospital, a man quietly told me, “The Earth will heal you, sister.”. That same day, I discovered raw foods and juicing—a message that resonated with my soul, though it took time to fully embrace.
The turning point was a profound spiritual experience during my son’s birth, which led me to quit animal products the same day. I dove deep into the connection between diet and disease, embarking on a journey that included over 600 days of combined juice fasting, 22 days of water fasting, 9 years of being a vegan, and 6 of them raw. I documented every step, researching the work of other healers.
Healing myself from RA and other chronic issues ignited a passion to share my knowledge with others - I couldn’t keep this to myself.
Today, I enjoy a life full of energy and joy. I practice yoga, cycle, run, do Qigong, dance, create art, homeschool my child, sing, run 2 businesses - all without pain. Most importantly, I’m the proud mother of an amazing boy, the light of my life.
I’m blessed to have helped hundreds of people eliminate the root causes of their health issues and witness their deep transformations. It's been a beautiful journey with my friends singing bowls and this ocean drum for the last several years.
People who attend my sound baths often share very deep experiences of shifts in how they feel after. Some of them say, "I wish you could yourself experience that." In the years of playing, I have become a witness to the transformation this healing modality brings to people's lives. It also is as healing for me as for recepeints. The energy that channels through while I play, is so powerful that I feel it in every cell in my body. It has been an honor to be blessed to do it.
I felt deeply moved at the last event I played that was organized and hosted by a local nonprofit with the support of the City of Boulder. It was beautiful to witness people getting to know their neighbors better, sharing delicious local organic food, and getting to plant and take home their plants.
