You know those times when the good things keep coming, and you are just overwhelmed with joy? Well, this was the cherry on the top: I was nominated as one of Europe’s best wedding photographers!l This spring has been a season of recognition. From being featured in Vogue, to finally being accepted into Theodore — a directory I’d dreamed of joining — and now this nomination… it’s been emotional, heartwarming, and incredibly affirming. A few years ago, I began evolving Luminous into a brand that felt more like me — while staying rooted in the values I’ve always held dear: a deep commitment to artistry and truly client-centered service. To that foundation, I added a more editorial, art-driven, and stylish approach. I embraced curiosity and joy, and leaned into what makes both me and this brand unique. Seeing that vision recognized is the most rewarding feeling. I’ve been lucky to have some of the best people — in and out of the industry — supporting me through this journey. (There have definitely been some thank-you notes and teary hugs!) But if there’s one thing this experience has reaffirmed, it’s the power of community. Every time I’m at a workshop or conference, surrounded by peers, I’m reminded of how essential it is to lift each other up — to include, not exclude — and to make space for everyone to grow into their best.
