It's been a minute but we are back in the fine french South East? East?(not sure) playing the wonderful @le_fil_smac in sumptuous Saint-Etienne for the very first time followed by our first appearance at @labelleelectrique in the grace of Grenoble.

LUMER began with a successful 2021 debut EP โ๐๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ช๐ด๐ข๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ข๐ณ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐๐ค๐ตโ as a follow up to their first singles โ๐๐ญ๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฅ ๐ฐ๐ฏ ๐๐ถ๐ช๐ต๐ดโ and โ๐๐ถ๐ณ๐ฏ/๐๐ญ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฅโ.
Then came the release of the popular singles โ๐๐ข๐ต๐ณ๐ฆ๐ฅ ๐ช๐ด ๐ข ๐ฑ๐ข๐ด๐ด๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ ๐ฐ๐ง ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ช๐ณ๐ดโ and โ๐๐ฏ๐จ๐ญ๐ช๐ด๐ฉ ๐๐ณ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฎโ which both have the uncanny ability to evoke the gritty trauma of modern day society and channel such hurt and agony into wondrously affecting notions. After their first EP, saw the release of their debut album titled โ๐๐ฐ ๐๐ถ๐ณ๐บ, ๐๐ฐ ๐๐ณ๐ช๐ป๐ฆ๐ดโ.
This album included tracks โ๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ ๐๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ท๐ฆ๐ณ๐ด๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ดโ and โ๐๐ฏ๐ฆ ๐๐ถ๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ฅ ๐ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ณ๐ด ๐ฐ๐ง ๐๐ฐ๐ญ๐ช๐ต๐ถ๐ฅ๐ฆโ both of which were met with great acclaim.
The band collaborated with labels like Beast Records, Swish Swash and Sour Grapes Records and performed with a number of notable artists such as Fat White Family,ย Thee Oh Sees, BDRMM, Crack Cloud.
Take the sounds of early Post-Punk music in the form of Joy Division, Wire and The Cure to name a few and entwines this with the modern sound of today, claiming an amass of inspiration from their contemporaries of Protomartyr, Preoccupations & Eagulls.
