Hello. I'm the "Mar" part of Lumar😃. Can't believe "Lu" introduced herself back in February and here I am finally saying hello. It's been a crazy minute!
We wanted to introduce ourselves to those who may not know us. So, you know we've been friends since forever. But, did you know we also went to high school and university together? And we married husbands who were friends, and alternated years having 5 children between us. We both had Havanese dogs and both bought the same model home. You might say we are very in sync!
It's no wonder that we've ɓeen building our design business together for 30 years! We both have a love of surrounding ourselves with people and beautiful things, making many shared memories in a warm and inviting place we call home.

Hi there. I'm the "Lu" part of Lumar. Many of you may not know that Lu and Mar have been besties since 14 years of age.
But my love for design started even before that. Memories of fabric shopping with my mother remind me of how entranced I was walking into these stores full of colour and texture.
Anyone who knows me knows that to this day, beautiful colorful fabrics bring a smile to my face. I love a home to be a joyful place. When I look around my happy place is full of colour and family.
