Auto-Photo, the original company that inspired our name and to which we pay tribute, was among the first to achieve true mass-market success. Its photobooths were distributed worldwide, quietly transforming how people encountered photography in everyday life.
We are proud to present a rare collection of architectural and mechanical drawings from the 1940s onward. Drawn entirely by hand, these works reveal an exceptional level of precision and care. Each line traces the systems and mechanical ingenuity that brought these self-contained machines to life.
This installation invites visitors to view the drawings up close, revealing the structure and logic behind the machines. Check out these rare and delicate drawings and reflect on the cultural impact of a machine that made portraiture accessible, anonymous, and immediate. The exhibition is on view for a limited time.
