Because living in Canada wasn’t enough, I had go all out and buy the most picturesque truck imaginable.
It was a classic love story. I saw it on marketplace, with a price tag way way out of my intended budget, and two weeks later I have my dream car and I’m stark broke.
Old girlie has only 220k on her, stored in a garage until 2021, and now will be taking me all over Canada exploring and filming, whilst draining the bank with diabolical fuel economy.
Aiming to start documenting my lil adventures here, and Ane-Louise will be taking us all over :)

Being back for Christmas has reminded me how much I love my home and how grateful I am to have been raised here. While the country may not be perfect, the land is. Big mountains and forests in Canada are pretty cool, but the horizon and history here is something special. #whimsical

While out in the Sahara we shot a bit of cheeky content for @thrudark . I’ve been a fan of the brand and their content crew for years, so getting to do some stuff for them was quite a milestone for me.
Nothing ever goes to plan when filming in extreme locations, but we managed to wrangle a few cool shots inbetween traveling and trying to survive.
Massive thanks to the don @laurence.j for getting infront of the camera and filming me, doing take after take to get the perfect shot.
What an adventure.
It’s hard to describe an adventure like this. 7 days exploring an unstructured 3rd world country, amazing people, breathtaking views and unforgettable experiences.
The train was certainly the pinnacle of the trip. 20 hrs through the Sahara desert- stars painted the sky white, endless sea of sand, a freezing night and scorching day.
Moving around Mauritania with a backpack and a camera forced a new kind of stripped filmmaking- I’m glad I got these few shots but it doesn’t do the experience justice.
We snuck on the wagons in the dead of night and anxiously waited for 5 hours before it finally left. After a shivering night we woke up with an incredible sunrise, showing us the reality of what we were doing. After a few amazing hours, the train stopped mid day and we were pulled off by the local police (apparently making news headlines) and escorted to the passenger part of the train.
So much happened on the trip and it’s made for some good dad lore. Can’t wait for another adventure…

2 years ago myself and @danstockerz went to Northern Norway with a goal of adventure. With no snow shoes or skis (rookie error) we waded through waist deep snow for 6 days. The views we saw will never to be forgotten. Even made friends with some wild reindeer 🦌

It was great to get out and shoot for @c4energy_eur along the west coast of Portugal at the back end of last year. The weather was terrible all over Europe and the shoot was not looking likely, but we made it happen and what a trip this was! Thank you to the team who made it happen!
