PITFALL is a hardcore band from Bandung, formed in 1998 out of the local underground studio culture. Beginning with a demo tape released the same year, PITFALL developed an exploratory musical approach that pushed beyond conventional hardcore boundaries. Their debut album “Whispering Rose and Betrayal Kiss” (2006, Brokenjaws Records) marked a key milestone, followed by periods of promotion, lineup changes, and the release of a second album in 2014 via Jaggernaut Records. After nearly two decades shaped by evolving personal paths and internal dynamics, PITFALL officially concluded their journey in 2015, leaving a legacy defined by process, experimentation, and artistic integrity.
